Since spending a good part of a decade wearing many hats in Marketing (from inbound, content creation, web design, SEO and everything in between) the one thing I’ve learned is that a successful company always has a great tech team behind it. I may sound biased coming from a Silicon Valley tech startup, but I found this to be true in every industry I’ve ever been in, including tourism and now in the world of higher ed and non-profits.
As part of the tech team here at DD, what I do is help ensure that all the moving pieces technologically work, and if they don’t, find a way to make it work. I also believe in the power of compelling content – whether it be telling you a good story to grab your attention or solving a problem you may or may not have thought you ever had - and listening here is key! Combine those together and you get some of the biggest facets of inbound marketing.
